On our fourth and last week we started to make our way up to Auckland departing from Wellington to give back our rented car. We gave Tom a lift to Taupo and had some good hours with him :)
Before we had to give it back we had two days left so we decided to go to the Coromandel Peninsula to have a look at the Cathedral Cove and the Hot Water Beach. We met two guys on a camp site and one of them came from Heilbronn which is a city close to my home :D
We had an entertaining evening with a couple of beers and some good conversations.
The next day we arrived at the Cathedral Cove:
We had a great day and I found a new backpack because my old one was totally wasted. After we gave back our car we hitchhiked to Raglan, a small surfertown at the west coast. There I finally relaxed for a few days after all the hurry and action in the last three weeks. Hitchhiking was a great experience as well as we met a lot of locals who showed us things we otherwise would have never seen.
Thank you New Zealnd we had a crazy time with you and I will definitely come back one day!
